In Darkness, Light
In Darkness, Light is an exhibition of portraits by Lawrence Watson, inspired by the transformative effect that Spitalfields Crypt Trust has had on the lives of hundreds of people in recovery from drug and alcohol addictions.
The event celebrates over 50 years of SCT working with the homeless and those in recovery. It features faces of some well-known celebrities and Spitalfields locals from the arts and cultural world - people whose lives have felt the impact of addiction and homelessness, or are concerned by these issues.
Jocelyn Bain Hogg
Sent to a preparatory school from the age of 8, boarding there from 10, thence going to a public school like Lancing College aged 13 was normal for those of Jocelyn Bain Hogg’s class in the UK during the seventies. This was the accepted rite of passage to prepare for their paths into ‘the professions’, that status demanded.
The Print Space
Amy was invited to speak at What Next?, a tailor-made event series aimed at today’s graduates and emerging photographers. Presented by theprintspace, in partnership with British Journal of Photography and supported by AOP, the event featured four one-day sessions of talks and workshops focusing on different disciplines of the photographic industry, to inform and educate the next generation of photographic artists and industry professionals on how to make the crucial next steps in their photographic careers.
Return Of The Rudeboy
Return of the Rudeboy is an immersive exhibition exploring the style, swagger and significance of the 21st century Rudeboy, including original photography, film, installations and a programme of live events. Created by Photographer and Film maker Dean Chalkley and Creative Director Harris Elliott, the depiction reveals a collective of sharply dressed individuals who exemplify an important and rarely documented subculture.
